Link’s Olympic Association with Britain’s Sailing Medal Hope

British-owned, worldwide based manpower consultancy Link Oil and Gas Professionals is sponsoring Paul Brotherton in his campaign to represent the UK in the 2012 London Olympics in the skiff 49er sailing class.
Paul Brotherton and Mark Asquith have been sailing together since 2006. They are seen as one of Britain’s main medal hopes at the Olympics in one of our most successful sports. To turn their potential into gold they are embarking on the most challenging and demanding training programme.
Upcoming events for Paul and his colleague Mark are the World Championships in Bermuda in January and the Sail for Gold Regatta in Weymouth in July. Further challenges are the Sailing World Championships in Perth in 2011.
The next two years will take them to all corners of the globe, pitching them against the toughest waves and the most difficult conditions.
They are dedicating the next two years of their lives to 2012 and it represents a huge opportunity - Link Oil and Gas Professionals are confident that they are medal contenders and wish them all their best with their Olympic bid.
